A common misconception is that Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia is Sleep Restriction. In fact, this is just one element of the programme and research shows that the best results are seen when ALL of the elements are used, rather than just one. There is also a lot of bad advice about how to do sleep restriction, you are not going to be told to go to bed for just 2 hours a night. We adapt the programme to your needs and to what you feel you can manage.
